LIVFE

solo

2017

A dream of a flying lion who befriends a five-year-old boy and goes on adventurous travels with him is one of many memories of a fictional character, the protagonist in the piece LIVFE. Ian Kaler takes the audience on new paths after his o. T. series, guiding his main character to a world of autobiographical stories, dreams and adventures. Images flicker on a screen behind which the protagonist moves about, live sounds liquefy the atmosphere, and silhouettes dance in a dialogue between pasts and the here and now.
